It's Time

I always know it is time to color my hair again when Ryan starts calling me......



SILVER FOX!!!! (Of course he means it in an endearing way). :)

I have been blessed er...cursed with my maternal grandmothers graying hair. I've been "graying" since my 20s. I have had to color my hair every 6-8 weeks for years. It pretty much sucks, but such is life. I sometimes use the box color but I much prefer to have my hair professionally colored because I feel pampered. I assume Ryan prefers that I use the box color because it is so much cheaper but since he prefers me not to be a silver fox he just goes along with whatever I choose.

Jen Muhlig(left), Traci Payne(middle)and Dianne Reichard hold up a recent issue of the Augusta Gazette newspaper during their trip to San Diego, Calif. The trio took the picture at 4 a.m. June 6 before heading to a race. Muhlig ran a full marathon, and Payne and Reichard ran a half marathon as part of the Rock N' Roll Marathon for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society

Buffing Up

After completing my marathon I didn't want to gain a bunch of weight and didn't want to quit eating the crap that I do, but I also didn't want to continue to run 30+ miles a week. So my compromise was to continue running, but less miles, and lift weights. The three of us ride our bikes and/or run (Madelyn rides her bike or her electric scooter)to the AHS weight room 3-4 times a week to work out. Madelyn sometimes will play in the wrestling room, but often times I will find her right alongside her daddy doing....

I guess she is buffing up for 2nd Grade, or maybe for fall soccer. Either way, I'm very pleased that she is learning great habits from her daddy, hopefully that will continue a lifetime.

Big Brother 12

Big Brother 12 starts on Thursday and I cannot wait! I'm not sure who is more excited, me or my MIL, Judy. We love this show! It is on three nights a week but if I miss one night I know I can count on updates from Judy. I always enjoy our BB discussions.
