Introducing Kelso Charles

Kelso is the newest member of the Muhlig household. He is 10 weeks old and weighs in at 2lbs. He will probably be a whopping 5lbs when all is said and done. His mama is a yorkie poo and his daddy is a chihuaha (sp?). He is our replacement for Jack, since Jack is going to a farm to assist with making more Corgis (he is going to be used as a breeding dog....lucky him).

Madelyn and I unintentionally came up with the name Kelso. She liked Cutie or Ricky and I liked Eddie or Queso. I made the final decision since I'm the primary care giver and when she accidentally referred to him as Kelso rather than Queso it stuck.

Ryan detests Kelso and will have nothing to do with him. He thinks Kelso is pretty useless. But, I think he just needs to give it some time and the two of them will become the best of friends.

Kelso hasn't quite figured out the whole potty training thing and seems to think his huge kennel is a litter box. He also doesn't like to be left alone at night and whines and whines and whines. I had about five hours of sleep the first night because I kept getting up to check on him and last night I set the alarm to take him out to potty. It is kind of like having a baby in the house again, except better because I'm not breastfeeding and I can just toss him in a kennel.

He is a lap dog and loves to be held. Madelyn and I adore him.
