Toothless Wonder

Madelyn has already lost four of her bottom teeth but her top two, particularly one, middle tooth, has been loose for a while. For well over a week Madelyn has asked her teacher, her previous Kindergarten teacher, me, Ryan, and other kids parents to pull her tooth. Each attempt came up unsuccessful.

An attempt was made with dental floss tied around the tooth, but that kept slipping off:

Madelyn's attempts and Ryan's attempts...failed

It was time to find other reinforcements and out came the thread:

Madelyn was less than thrilled about this. She didn't want to pull the thread so I told her she could go to school the next day with the thread attached and I was sure the other kids wouldn't poke fun. I couldn't quit laughing at how ridiculous that was.

Poor pitiful Patty...

Some consoling from daddy or more like a come to Jesus.

"NOOOOOO!!!!"

With one quick tug....

The tooth was gone.

Madelyn said, "that didn't even hurt."

Here's hoping the other top loose tooth doesn't cause so much drama.

I love Pitiful Patty. Her sad face made me want to cry.

I am *almost* a dental professional... LOL. I could've done it!

Love you guys!

omg Jen I laughed and laughed at this post.....only because it was like watching my own daughter in those pictures! The tooth drama at my house was very similar the first few teeth.
